Our quick release model (1.8" thick) allows you to leave the powered base fixed to a mounting point, and remove the whip in under 5 seconds. No wiring disconnection needed. Alternatively, our fixed mount model (2" thick) allows the entire whip + base to be mounted with no quick disconnect point.
